Hey everyone! It has been SO long since I posted on here. But I want you all to know that my brain is still buzzing with ideas about ways I can help people improve their overall happiness with perspective shifts and healthier lifestyles. I took a long hiatus because sometimes I wonder what authority I… Continue reading I Created a YouTube Channel?!
Monday: Arms and Abs So this is the workout that I didn't finish two weeks ago because there were other things going on, but surprisingly, I loved this workout! I thought it was tough but good and I liked how it worked my muscles. Drop push-ups are awful though, they're pretty much a full burpee… Continue reading Week 8 of Bikini Body Guide by Kayla Itsines
I was just listening to a TED Talk about raising kids to become adults. I had to turn it off because it was so scary. What's so scary about it? Well, the fact that as a parent, you are responsible for other little humans, and they basically have to be on suicide watch at all… Continue reading My Current, Terrified Thoughts on Raising Children
Monday: Legs and Cardio I am a goddess. My legs are burning, but I'm powering through this workout. I will not leave the gym until every exercise is completed. No cutting corners, I'm doing this!! Well, I cut one corner, I didn't use weights for my walking lunges. I just did regular ones. Those kill… Continue reading Week 7 of Bikini Body Guide by Kayla Itsines
Tattoos, tattoos. More permanent than most marriages, and gotten with considerably less thought on many occasions. Let's talk about them, shall we? DISCLAIMER: I am going to speak candidly, these are my opinions, if I am slamming any one of your decisions, know that I do not judge you as a person, this is simply… Continue reading My Criteria for Getting Tattoos (Probably Why I Don’t Have Any)

Monte, (yes I'm addressing this to myself because this post is not about you all, it's about me) You're killing the game. It doesn't always feel like that because sometimes you feel like you could be doing more, and so you always look for other ways to fill your time, and then feel bad when… Continue reading Positive Self-Talk to Boost my Mood
Monday: Arms and Abs I have never sucked so badly at a workout. I got through maybe half of it, and then gave up. To be fair, I was really distracted from other things going on, and my heart and body weren't into it. So I ran a mile to finish off the workout and… Continue reading Week 6 of Bikini Body Guide by Kayla Itsines
Monday: Legs and Cardio This workout went really well! I'm starting a new set of weeks, so I had not yet done this workout. My usual 10 burpees was bumped up to 15 burpees, and I must say, it's tough!! I'm really proud of myself though, because I know those will be easy for me… Continue reading Week 5 of Bikini Body Guide by Kayla Itsines

Thought 2: It’s working! My goal for 2018 is to make “50 pounds of art” (metaphorically) (literally: to make art every day), which I explain here, and which basically means that I will paint or draw something every day, and that I will learn through the process of making and trying and failing and failing better (#beckett). After three months of daily art-making, daily thinking about art…
